The main cargo ship used for cargo from Ireland to the UK is called 'Ullyses' and this is currently in dry dock for unscheduled maintenance.
Other ferries are trying to accommodate the freight but there just isn’t enough room to carry it all until the main one is repaired. There are long delays in Dublin port.
